Technology News Feed Portal Lauch by Janco Associates, Inc.

Janco Associates has just launched a new Technology and IT news portal. The feed
(http://www.newsgroupworld) has both a web component as well as a XML which can be
subscribed to.

Victor Janulaitis, the Chief Executive Officer of Janco Associates, Inc. said \"Our
mission is to provide the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Chief Technology
Officer (CTO) all of the tools they need to efficiently and effectively stay current
on the latest developments in Technology. To that end this news feed s focused to
meet these objectives.\" He added, \"Each of our news feeds is manually created from
various sources. This is not a mindless automated process, rather it is one which
we gather, filter and prioritize. Only the most meaningful news is presented.\"
Janulaitis was also quoted, \"Janco uses its award winning product PHP2HTML (see
http://www.e-janco.com/rsstohtml.htm) to generate static html pages from the raw xml
files eliminating the need for users to have an RSS readers configured on their
workstation or PAD.

The web site component is comprised of a set of dynamic pages which publish selected
XML feeds from various key technology publication. These pages are generated
dynamically via PHP. The XML (RSS Newsfeed) is provided as three separate versions.
One contains 25 of the latest news items, the second contains the 10 latest, and
the last contains historical feed of all the items published.

The CEO said, \"The items selected for the inclusion in the NewsGroupWorld.com XML
feed are the ones that CIOs and CTOs need to be aware of. Janco is striving to
filter out the noise and marketing hype that pervades the Technology and IT fields
today.\"

Janco estimates that over 100,000 IT professionals have subscribed to it various XML
feeds and newsletters in the last 24 months.
